Food & Beverage Training Resources was founded in 2016 by Andrew Head, a career restaurant professional with over 30 years of experience. He first entered the restaurant business as a server and bartender while in college and upon graduation with a degree in management, began his management career. Through the years, Andrew managed many different units with multiple concepts while holding various management titles. During this time, he helped train and coach thousands of front and back of house employees. In his last position before starting Food & Beverage Training Resources, he served as Director of Training and Compliance for a multi-state concept. A large part of this position was inspecting multiple locations for their adherence to brand standards as well as cleanliness and food safety. He had always had a passion for training and the food service industry but it was this job that created the passion for food safety. He decided to leave a company he had been with for many years to embark on a new phase in his career and open his own business as a food service instructor and consultant. This provides him the opportunity to let his experience, knowledge and teaching skills benefit many restaurant professionals in the Atlanta area and not just those within one organization.
